Are the spins in the Bones & Bounty bonus free spins?
Only in name. The rules count them as Free Spins, yet the Cash Bonus Game pays no pay-way wins: three Bonus symbols swap the reels for an empty 6x4 board where only Cash Coin, Persistent Payer and Multiplier Cash symbols land. Each spin that fills an empty cell sends everything one reel right, through a Ghost Reel worth x2 at first, and the board is paid once three spins in a row add nothing. Our four natural boards paid 0x, 76x, 21x and 39x.
Ways that start on a reel no Wild can touch
Twenty-four symbols fill the screen on each paid spin, four on each of six reels, and a way pays from reel 1 rightwards with no gaps. A bearded captain heads the paytable at 10x the bet for six on a way, 6.5x for five and 1x for two. The compass needs three and pays 7x for six. Thunderkick's information sheet puts a telescope, an hourglass and a scroll map beside it in the middle tier, with A down to 9 below.

That green ghost monkey marked WILD replaces any symbol but the gold BONUS medallion, which is the game's Scatter. In our 750 paid spins no Wild of any kind touched reel 1, as the sheet says. Our biggest paid spin needed nothing more than the paytable. On spin 547 five captains met on 12 ways, a Wild on reel 4 among them, at €6.50 a way.
Ghost pirates lock in place while the reels go round once more
Taller Wilds show a ghost pirate in a tricorn hat and occupy two, three or four positions. These Stacked Respin Wilds stay put while the rest of the grid spins again, and the way wins are paid after the respin. Thunderkick's full rules add a further respin whenever another lands.

They were scarce. Of our paid spins, 14 brought them, 19 in total (9 two high, 8 three high, 2 four high), on reels 2 to 6 and most often on reel 2, and none led to a second respin. Those 14 spins paid €182.90 in way wins, spin 713 alone €43.20.
Three hexagons below the grid make up the CASH BONUS meter. Bonus symbols, gold crab-shaped medallions with a red gem, fill it, respins included, and the third starts the Cash Bonus Game. Spin 660 had one on the paid spin and two more during its respin, and the way wins of both screens, €28.80, were paid before the board opened. Each paid spin began with an empty meter; two medallions, one short, showed 30 times.

Three lamps count down while the board shifts right
Once the meter is full the scene moves to a cave heaped with coins. The board is 24 grey tiles marked with crossed bones, and beyond reel 6 stands the Ghost Reel, a green column headed MULTIPLIER 2. A counter reads FREE SPINS 3 and three lamps under the board repeat it, yet nothing pays by way in this round.

Landing anything on an empty cell resets the count to 3 and shifts every symbol one cell right; a spin that lands nothing costs a lamp. Whatever is pushed off reel 6 enters the Ghost Reel, is multiplied by its value and drops back onto a random cell, merging with any coin already there. The server's answers also show that a quiet spin leaves the board where it was. Three quiet spins in a row end the game, and the board is paid as one sum.

Persistent Payers and Multiplier Cash at the Ghost Reel
Two rarer symbols land among the coins. The Persistent Payer, drawn as a treasure chest, raises every cash symbol on the board by its own value once it reaches the Ghost Reel, then comes back multiplied like a coin. A Multiplier Cash, the green monkey head with a number, adds that number to the Ghost Reel as soon as it lands and turns into a coin of equal value. Coins are worth x1 to x10 in the information sheet, the other two x1 to x3.
One Persistent Payer, worth 1, arrived on cash spin 10 of the round from spin 143 and reached the Ghost Reel on cash spin 18. It added 1 to each of the 12 other symbols and returned as a 2, and the board went from €45.00 to €76.00 on that step.
Multiplier Cash landed in only one of our seven boards, the first control purchase. Three of them, on cash spins 6, 7 and 12, took the Ghost Reel from x2 to x5, and the next coin to pass, an 8, came back as 40. That board paid €111.00, our best.
Five captains on spin 547 out-paid every natural cash board
Spinning at €1.00, our 750 paid spins cost €750.00 and paid back €663.40. That is 88.5%; the listed RTP is 96.16%.
- 750paid spins at €1.00 in the demo
- 88.5%of the stakes paid back
- 78xbest single spin
- 4Cash Bonus Games triggered
Four natural Cash Bonus Games came in, on spins 105, 143, 660 and 699. The first stopped after its three opening cash spins with an empty board, and the others paid €76.00, €21.00 and €39.00: €136.00 together, about a fifth of the return. Way wins supplied the other €527.40.
Our lowest balance, €4,826.90, came on spin 546, and the five captains of spin 547 won back €77.00 of the gap at once. Wins came on 19.2% of spins, half of them 1.6x or smaller, and 18 losing spins in a row was the worst stretch.
An x5 Ghost Reel in one purchase, x2 in the other two
One card, BONUS GAME, sits behind BUY FEATURE priced at €100.00 for a €1.00 stake, and the demo has no ante or BET+ switch. A purchase plays a spin certain to fill the meter.

For the 96.16% build, the one on Thunderkick's game page and the one in this demo, the server rates the buy at 96.50%. A real-money copy can be any of the lower builds the studio publishes, 94.17%, 92.17%, 90.17% or 87.17%, and some markets remove the buy altogether.
| Option | Price | At €1.00 | RTP of the buy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bonus Game | 100x | €100.00 | 96.50% |
The first control buy, the one with three Multiplier Cash, paid €111.00 after 16 cash spins. The second ran 19 cash spins at x2, collected one Persistent Payer and paid €77.00. The filmed one landed coins only, never a chest or a monkey head, and paid €24.00 after 10. For €300.00 the three returned €212.00.
Eager Beavers shares the cash game, Pink Elephants 2 the grid
Only one other slot on this site has a Cash Bonus Game for its bonus: Eager Beavers, released in August 2024. On the published figures the two differ nearly everywhere. Its six reels grow from 2 to 10 rows for up to 1,000,000 ways, it lists 94.29% with high volatility, and it caps wins at 10,000x. Both sell their bonus for 100x the bet.
The same 6x4 shape and 4,096 ways belong to Pink Elephants 2, whose buy menu sells free spins by Scatter count from 60x to 250x; its RTP is 96.13%, its ceiling 10,000x. No source we found ties either game to the ghost ship as a series.
Most of our money came from the paytable and the Stacked Respin Wilds, and the Cash Bonus Game decided the extremes, from an empty board to the one control buy whose Ghost Reel climbed past x2. The game suits a patient player with a deep demo balance, since wins came on about one paid spin in five and two of our three bought boards returned less than their price.
Before the next cash board: six answers
Some answers rest on the rules screens and Thunderkick's documents, the rest on the server's records of our seven boards.
Can a Stacked Respin Wild land on the first reel?
No. The studio's information sheet keeps both kinds of Wild off reel 1, and our logs agree: the 19 Stacked Respin Wilds of our 750 paid spins stood on reels 2 to 6, 8 of them on reel 2, and no ordinary Wild landed on reel 1 either. Every way therefore needs the symbol itself on reel 1.
What happens when a coin from the Ghost Reel drops onto another coin?
The two merge and their values are added, as rules page 6 says. We saw it on cash spin 10 of the round from spin 143: a coin worth 2 passed the x2 Ghost Reel, came back as a 4, fell onto a 3 and left one coin worth 7.
Does the Ghost Reel multiplier ever go back down?
Not in our seven Cash Bonus Games. Six kept x2 from start to finish, and in the first control purchase the value rose to x3, x4 and x5 and held there until the round ended at €111.00. Only a Multiplier Cash moved it, and only upwards.
How many cash spins did our longest board take?
21, in the natural round of spin 143. Coins arrived one or two at a time, each arrival set the counter back to 3, and three times the board was down to its last spin before a coin saved it. It ended with 13 symbols worth €76.00.
Can a Cash Bonus Game pay nothing at all?
Yes. Spin 105 filled the meter, and none of the 3 opening cash spins of its board landed a symbol, so the round closed empty at €0.00. The captured rules mention no minimum. Our six other boards paid between €21.00 and €111.00.
Thunderkick's launch post mentions a Lucky Chest and a Monkey Multiplier. Which symbols are those?
The in-game rules and the game page name the bonus symbols Persistent Payer and Multiplier Cash. In the art the first is a treasure chest and the second a green monkey head, but no Thunderkick document we found pairs the post's names with the rules' names, so this page keeps to the rules.
