Which paid more in our log, the base game or its one bonus round?
The base game, across 750 spins. Its screens at €1.00 paid €450.30 between them, while the five free spins from spin 106 paid €235.20 on their own. With its trigger spin, that one round came to 236.7x the stake, 31.6% of everything we staked. The whole log returned €685.50, or 91.4%.
50 lines that pay in bunches
Six reels of five rows and 50 fixed paylines carry the cast that Thunderkick's own page describes as Thor facing the beasts of Ragnarok: on the opening screen, Thor, a wolf, a boar, an eagle and a green serpent, with shields and axes on the outer reels.
Each line pays on its own, from the leftmost reel. The Symbols page gives Thor 1.00 for three on a line up to 10.00 for six at our €1.00 stake, and the wolf 0.50 to 2.00; our capture stops there. In the server's answers the other seven symbols paid 0.10 to 0.50 for three.

Single lines are small, so the bigger wins need one symbol stacked across many lines at once: on spin 31 the wolf paid 0.50 on 27 lines for 13.50, and on spin 718 one symbol paid on 32 lines for 18.40, with neither feature on screen. Most wins stayed small, though: 79 of our 138 winning spins paid less than the stake.
A Wild Field that came up empty more often than not
When Wilds land on two or more reels, they open a rectangle between them and every symbol inside turns into a Wild. The field can stretch across all six reels.

Our log counted 61 fields in 750 base-game spins, about one in 12, and one on every spin where Wilds stood on two or more reels. None spanned all six reels; the widest covered five. Of the 61, 33 paid nothing, yet together they paid €276.80, 61.5% of what the base game returned.
One field sat behind our top base-game result. On spin 204 a field covered reels 2 to 5 across rows 2 to 4, the Feature Row put x2 over reel 1 and a Wild stack on reel 5, and 34 lines paid 39.2x; the second best, 38.4x, was built the same way.
What the Feature Row dropped on the reels
Above the reels runs a row of six rings. When it lights at random in the base game, it holds at least one Wild or Scatter to inject into the reel below, and it may add reel multipliers of x2, x3, x5 or x10. They multiply every win on their reel, and two on one winning line add up.

Lit, the row appeared on 49 of our base-game spins, about one in 15. It injected a Wild stack 27 times, 17 of them two high and 10 three high, and Scatters on 27 spins (30 in all), both together on 5 spins; 44 of the 49 carried at least one multiplier. Multipliers touched 129 line wins on 11 spins, which paid €136.10 between them. Those 49 spins returned €263.40 in all.
750 spins, one bonus round and a high point on spin 129
At €1.00 a spin, 750 paid spins cost €750.00 and returned €685.50, 91.4% against the 94.20% the game lists. Take the round from spin 106 out, trigger spin included, and the rest returned €448.80, 59.8% of the stakes.
- 750paid spins at €1.00 in the demo
- 91.4%of the stakes paid back
- 236.7xbest round, free spins included
- 1free spins round triggered
A spin paid 18.4% of the time, about one in 5, and the median win was 0.8x. Of the 14 wins that reached 10x, the only one past 50x was the bonus round. No dry spell lasted beyond 24 spins.
The top came on spin 129, 23 spins after the bonus, at €5,169.40; from there the base game wore it down to €4,925.30 by spin 717, and the session closed at €4,935.50. Of the base game's €450.30, the 92 spins with a Wild Field or a lit row paid €308.60.
Spin 106 and the five free spins after it
The trigger came through the Feature Row. On spin 106 it lit with x3 over reel 1 and Scatters over reels 3 and 6, and those two plus one that landed on reel 4 made the three the rules ask for. The spin itself paid 1.50 on five lines at x3, and the Bonus Game opened with 5 free spins.
As the rules say, the row was lit on every free spin. The first and the last paid nothing. On the second, x2 over reel 2 and a two-high Wild stack on reel 4 came with a field across reels 1 to 4 in the bottom three rows, and 32 lines paid 55.00. The third did most of the work: x10 over reel 2, a three-high stack on reel 4, a field over reels 2 to 4 in the bottom four rows, and 42 lines at x10 for 122.00. On the fourth, two x3s over reels 1 and 2 added up to x6 on every winning line, and 27 lines paid 58.20.
Together the five paid €235.20, and the third alone made more than half of it. No retrigger came: no free spin showed more than two Scatters. The rest we know only from the rules page: each Scatter beyond three adds 2 free spins, and three or more during the free spins give a full retrigger. We have no footage of any free spins: our filming sessions of this game froze in the browser.
What 75x would buy, on paper
On the price list the Bonus Game costs 75x the stake, €75.00 at €1.00, with an RTP of 94.27% against 94.20% for normal play. We did not buy it, so our one bonus round came off the reels.
| Option | Price | At €1.00 | RTP of the buy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bonus Game buy | 75x | €75.00 | 94.27% |
Ours was the 94.20% version, the one on the rules screen; casinos may carry other versions, and in some markets the buy is switched off. A BET+ switch also sits beside the reels; the captured rules do not explain it, and we played every spin with it off.
Base game against base game, then bonus against bonus
Every log we compare here holds bonus rounds, so we look at both halves. Take the bonus rounds and their trigger spins out and Kraken's Lair returned 64.0%, Griffin's Gold 51.7%, Cerberus' Inferno 46.8% and Esqueleto Explosivo 2 79.0%, against 59.8% here. Put them back and Second Thunder comes out on top of the five at 91.4%, just ahead of Kraken's Lair at 90.8%.
Esqueleto Explosivo 2 charges the same 75x for its buy, at 96.35%, and pays far more often: 31.3% of its spins against 18.4% here. Second Thunder gives up RTP, 1.92 points or more below all four, for a 12,500x cap that, of the four, only Griffin's Gold beats, at 22,222x.
No log on this site holds a larger round than the one from spin 106; the next is the 316.3x in The Wildos. One round proves little, though. On its base game alone, Second Thunder returned less than Kraken's Lair or Esqueleto Explosivo 2, and a Wild Field or a lit Feature Row turned up on only about one spin in 8. It suits players who accept long, modest stretches for a bonus that lights the Feature Row on every spin.
What the logs can answer, and what they cannot
Short replies, drawn from a rules screen, the demo server's figures or our log of 750 spins.
How many Scatters does the Bonus Game need?
Three, for 5 free spins, and each extra one adds 2. The Feature Row can inject Scatters too: our only trigger, on spin 106, had three, two of them dropped in by the row. None of the other spins in our log showed more than two.
Does a Wild Field always pay?
No. In our base game 33 of the 61 fields paid nothing, and 10 paid 10x or more. The two best base-game spins we logged, 39.2x and 38.4x, each combined a field with a lit Feature Row and x2 on every line.
What do the Feature Row multipliers multiply?
Every win on the reel below them, and only while the row is lit; two on the same winning line are added. In our bonus round two x3s made x6, and x10 over reel 2 turned 42 line wins into 122.00.
What does the 94.27% next to the buy refer to?
It is the RTP the demo server lists for the Bonus Game bought at 75x the stake, against 94.20% for normal play. Both are long-run theoretical figures, not a forecast for one round.
Where does the 12,500x figure come from?
From Thunderkick: the demo server's configuration caps a round at 12,500x the bet, and the intro screen and the game page show the same figure. Our best round, 236.7x, used 1.9% of it.
