When two Multiplier Wilds share a win in Greedy Pumpking, what value does the merged Wild carry?

Each Wild first gains one, and the merged Wild takes the product of those new values; the win itself is paid at the old values multiplied together. On free spin 1 of our natural bonus, spin 133, an x3 and an x2 turned 0.30 into 1.80, became x4 and x3 and merged into x12. On the next drop that x12 and the third carried pumpkin, an x1, became x13 and x2, so x26. All 34 merges in our logs add the one before multiplying.

Every copy of the winning symbol leaves the grid

Each column of hexagons sits half a cell lower or higher than its neighbours, so the seven columns alternate between 6 and 7 symbols, starting and ending with 6, 45 in all. Green candy apples, red chocolate bars stamped RIP, swirl lollipops and pink eyeball sweets share the grid with small round sweets in four colours. A candy cauldron marked BONUS is the Scatter.

Clusters need five or more touching symbols of one kind and pay by their size. There are no lines or ways to read. The paytable screens did not make it into our capture, so these prices are the server's own payouts at a €1.00 bet: five of the best-paying symbol 1.00, eight of it 2.50, five of a low sweet 0.10. Of 679 clusters paid in our base game, 286 were the minimum five, and the largest, 15 cells with an x2 pumpkin among them, was priced 10.00 and paid 20.00 on spin 714.

Thunderkick's rules remove the winning symbol wherever it stands, inside the cluster or not, and new symbols drop into all the gaps. Over our 750 base-game spins, 655 symbol kinds were cleared after wins, and 581 of those clearances took copies that sat outside the winning cluster, 2,600 symbols in all and 11 at most on spin 252.

Greedy Pumpking x5 Multiplier Wild cleared grid
Emptied hexes between the drops of spin 29 in our filming session, with two x1 pumpkins and a crowned x5 left standing. CASH reads 4988.00 and PAYOUT 6.10 at a 1.00 bet.

That rule thins the grid fast. A clearance that reached past its cluster took 4.5 extra symbols on average, and every gap it left is a fresh draw for the cells around the pumpkins.

A pumpkin for each winning cluster, gone when the paid spin ends

The Multiplier Wilds are pumpkin heads with a number on them, and they stand in for any of the eight paying symbols. A winning cluster without one leaves a new pumpkin at x1, and in our logs it always appeared on one of that cluster's own cells. Each of our 199 winning spins left at least one.

When a pumpkin takes part in a win, it multiplies that win by its number, gains one and moves a step to an empty neighbouring cell. Pumpkins that sat a win out stay put. Outside the bonus they last only as long as the drops of their own spin: none of our 750 paid spins began with a pumpkin on the grid. Spin 253 shows the cost. An x2, an x3 and an x1 multiplied a 0.70 win by 6 for 4.20 and merged into x24, the next drop paid nothing, and the x24 left with the spin.

Greedy Pumpking pumpkin Multiplier Wilds x1 x4 x2
Three pumpkin Wilds, x1 at the left edge, a crowned x4 below it and x2 to the right, wait for the refill on spin 14 of the same session. A BONUS cauldron sits lower down, and PAYOUT shows 5.30 at a 1.00 bet.

A base-game win was multiplied by x2 or more on 80 paid spins, by x4 or more on 16 and by x10 or more on 3 (spins 575, 329 and 252). The remaining 119 winning spins were paid at face value.

Plus one each, then multiplied: 34 merges in our logs

Thunderkick's rules give the order with an x3 and an x5 in one winning cluster. The win is paid at x15, the two become x4 and x6, and they merge into an x24.

A paragraph later the same rules say that an x3 and an x5 merge into x15, which leaves out the plus one. Every merge we logged follows the first example, 31 in the paid spins and 3 in two control purchases. An x15 did turn up once, on the last free spin of our first purchase, but it came from an x4 and an x2, which multiplied a 0.50 cluster by 8 for 4.00, became x5 and x3 and merged with no spin left to use the x15.

Greedy Pumpking x4 and x6 Multiplier Wilds
An x4 on the left edge and a crowned x6 near the middle, with gaps in every column, on spin 48 of that session. The payout box holds 5.30 at a 1.00 bet.

Because the plus one comes before the multiplying, two fresh x1 pumpkins in one win never make x1 or x2. Of our merges, 9 were exactly that pair, and each produced an x4. Three pumpkins merged at once 5 times. The largest merged values were x24 on spin 253 in the base game and x26 in the free spins of spin 133.

The best spin of the session, 575, shows how quickly the numbers climb inside one paid spin. Pumpkins were born on the first two drops, and one had grown to x3 by the fifth. Then a cluster of 12, worth 8.00 at face value, took in all three: x1 times x1 times x3 made it 24.00. They became x2, x2 and x4 and merged into x16, which turned the next cluster's 1.50 into 24.00. Three more drops at x17, x18 and x19 added 5.10, 3.80 and 3.80, and the spin closed on 64.40 with the pumpkin at x20.

Over 750 paid spins, the low arrived 10 spins before the best

Each spin cost €1.00, and the €750.00 of stakes brought back €570.10, or 76.0%, against the 94.15% Thunderkick gives this build. Spin 1 paid 0.10, and €4,999.10 after it was the highest the balance stood all session.

  • 750paid spins at €1.00 in the demo
  • 76.0%of the stakes paid back
  • 64.4xbest single spin
  • 1free spins round triggered

Something came back on 26.5% of spins, and the middle win among them was 1.5x the stake. Only 7 spins paid 10x or more and 2 reached 50x, and the worst dry spell lasted 12 spins.

Running balance of our 750 paid spins at €1.00: €5,000.00 at the start (dashed line), minus every stake, plus every win. Pink dots mark the spins that started free spins.

The low came on spin 565, at €4,783.40. Ten spins later the cascade of spin 575 paid 64.4x in the base game, and the balance drifted from there to €4,820.10. Only the natural bonus on spin 133 came close, at 62.5x.

Take those two spins away and the remaining 748 spins returned €443.20 on €748.00, about 59.3%. For a game rated High, a sample this size tells us little about the RTP.

Pumpkins supplied most of what the big base-game spins paid. The 6 base-game spins of 10x or more paid €161.70 between them, of which €111.20 was the part the multipliers added. A winning spin ran to 2.5 winning drops on average in the base game; spin 575 had 9, more than any other.

Spin 133 carried three pumpkins into the free spins and closed at x28

It takes three Scatters in one base-game spin to reach the Bonus Game, which lasts 8 free spins. Any pumpkins on the grid at that moment come along and stay from spin to spin, still multiplying, growing and merging, and each moves one step whenever a new free spin begins. A cauldron that lands during the bonus adds a spin, up to 3 per spin.

Three cauldrons are a lot to ask. In our 750 paid spins a single one showed in 138, two in 16, and three only once. That trigger came on spin 133, where the cauldrons arrived one at a time over the drops and the cascade paid 2.20 while leaving an x3, an x1 and an x2 behind.

Free spin 1 spent them straight away on the two merges in the answer at the top of this page. The carried x1 had sat out the first drop; on the second it joined the x12, the pair paid 19.20 and 8.40, and they merged into x26. The spin came to 30.70.

Free spins 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8 paid nothing. Free spin 3 added 2.60 under the x26, and on free spin 6 a cluster of 10 worth 1.00 was multiplied by 27. The free spins totalled 60.30, 62.50 with the trigger, and the round closed with one unused x28 pumpkin.

Two cards sit behind BUY FEATURE. The Bonus Game is priced at 80x the bet and starts the same 8 free spins. For 200x, the Sweeter Bonus Game starts its pumpkins at x2, x3 or x5 in place of x1; the rules do not say how that value is picked, and we left this card unbought.

Neither of our control purchases of the Bonus Game started with a pumpkin on the board. The first drew blanks on its first 4 free spins, gained a spin from a Scatter on free spin 5 and paid €13.80; the second paid €15.20 over 8.

On film a third purchase began the same way, with no pumpkin on the board and nothing paid on the first 4 free spins. On free spin 6 three x1s merged into an x8, which stayed to the end and gained one with every win it joined, up to x13. The round paid €22.80.

Our 80.00 Bonus Game purchase at a 1.00 bet, filmed with sound, CASH 4920.10 after the price. Three BONUS cauldrons open 8 free spins and the first 4 pay nothing. A crowned x1 pumpkin appears on free spin 5, and on free spin 6 three x1 pumpkins merge into one x8 that grows with each win, x9 and x10 by the end of that spin, and PAYOUT reaches 7.60. Free spin 7 pays nothing, free spin 8 lifts it from x10 to x13, while two fresh x1 pumpkins near the bottom merge into an x4 that ends on x6. The last spin closes on BIG WIN 15.20 and PAYOUT 22.80.

Across the three purchases at 80x, €51.80 came back on €240.00, each starting from an empty board, against the €62.50 that our one natural round paid from a start of three pumpkins.

Greedy Pumpking BET+ menu with three modes
The BET+ menu at a 1.00 bet: Bonus Boost for 1.30, Bonus Boost Plus for 2.50 and Sweeter Multipliers for 5.00, each above its own ACTIVATE button.

BET+ is a switch above the spin button. While it is on, each spin is charged at a higher multiple of the bet. At 1.3x the bet, Bonus Boost makes the Bonus Game 2 times as likely; Bonus Boost Plus asks 2.5x for 5 times the chance, and Sweeter Multipliers 5x for the higher starting numbers. On Thunderkick's figures all three return a little more than ordinary spins, from 94.26% to 94.36%, and none of them buys a bonus outright.

The closest game reviewed here is Hot Potato Battleground, also a cluster slot, released in September 2026 at 94.23% with a 10,000x cap. Its square 7x7 grid keeps multipliers in the cells, where exploding Wilds create and double them, and they also hold between free spins.

Jiggly Cash also uses its multipliers only next to a win. Its orbs add their values into one total, whereas pumpkins multiply each other: two x3 orbs make x6, two x3 pumpkins in one cluster x9.

The appeal is watching one number grow. In the base game a pumpkin has to survive several wins in a single cascade before its number counts for much, and most spins end sooner. In the bonus every pumpkin stays for the round, and the start shows in the totals: our natural round began with three pumpkins, the three purchases with none.

Where the pumpkins go between spins, plus four more questions

Answers from Thunderkick's rules document and the server's replies to our spins.

Does a pumpkin left on the grid carry into the next paid spin?

No. In the base game a Multiplier Wild lasts only for the drops of its own spin, and none of our 750 paid spins began with one on the grid. The one exception is a spin that triggers the Bonus Game, whose pumpkins are carried into the free spins and stay to the end.

Is the merged value the product of the old numbers or the new ones?

The new ones. The win is paid at the old values multiplied, then each Wild gains one and the merge multiplies those. In our first purchase an x4 and an x2 paid 0.50 times 8, then became x5 and x3 and merged into x15.

How many extra free spins can Scatters add in one go?

Up to 3. Each BONUS cauldron that lands during the free spins adds one spin, and the rules cap that at 3 per spin. Across our 4 bonus rounds only one extra spin arrived, on free spin 5 of the first purchase, which ran to 9 spins.

Are there paylines on the hexagon grid?

None. Wins are clusters of five or more touching symbols of one kind, counted on 45 cells in 7 columns. AboutSlots lists 5 paylines in its info box and SlotCatalog describes a 7x7 layout; neither matches Thunderkick's rules or the 45 positions in each server answer we logged.

What does Sweeter Multipliers change, and what does it cost?

It is a BET+ mode, so every spin costs 5x the bet while it is on, and every new pumpkin starts at x2, x3 or x5 in place of x1. Thunderkick rates it at 94.36%. The rules do not say how the starting value is picked, and we did not play it.
